We believe that as Black men we must do as our slogan articulates: "take responsibility for our greater selves." The Ujima Men’s Collective takes responsibility.
We educate Black same gender loving men to enlighten themselves through conferences, workshops and trainings. The Ujima Men’s Collective educates Black same gender loving men to make better life choices to live lives that are in the light and not in the shadows.
We empower Black same gender loving men to understand and accept who they are and not feel the need to hide or to deny who they are. The Ujima Men’s Collective empowers Black same gender loving men to make better life choices to keep them in positive life situations.
We encourage Black same gender loving men to be the best men they can be and to strive for greatness in all things they attempt. The Ujima Men’s Collective encourages Black men to make safer sex choices to keep them free from HIV.
OUR MISSION:
The mission of the Ujima Men's Collective is to build and cultivate a network of Black same gender loving men that addresses issues and other paramount concerns that are germane to Black men in all populations.
